Ever since I became a parent, I have come to value the preciousness of my children and have even come to lean a little more pro-life than when I was younger. However, for me, this isn't a moral issue as much as it is about health, science and individual rights. I agree that there are certain places (and circumstances) that shouldn't be legislated by government especially when it comes to subject matter that a majority of legislators seem to be ignorant about. After much debate it seems like this bill didn't pass last night but the fight isn't over and I stand with all of my friends in Austin who are fighting for the rights of the women of Texas. #sb5
